Monetate, a Philadelphia-based provider of testing, targeting, and personalization solutions for websites, has raised $15 million in Series B funding led by OpenView Venture Partners. The company previously raised $5.1 million from firms like First Round Capital and Floodgate. www.monetate.com

On Deck, a New York-based operator of a platform that connects businesses with capital sources, has raised $4 million in new Series C funding from SF Capital Group. The round total now stands at $19 million, including earlier commitments from SAP Ventures, Contour Venture Partners, First Round Capital, Khosla Ventures, RRE Ventures and Village Ventures. www.ondeckcapital.com

Mr. Number, a San Mateo, Calif.-based developer of an app that lets friends know how and when you want to be contacted, has raised $3.5 million in new VC funding from Menlo Ventures.www.mrnumber.com

Gild, a San Francisco-based platform for developers to create, share and improve their skills profiles, has raised $2.4 million in new VC funding led by Globespan Capital Partners. www.gild.com

Mandiant, an Alexandria, Va.-based provider of threat detection and response solutions, disclosed in a regulatory filing that it has raised $70 million in new funding. The company announced last month that it had raised new capital from One Equity Partners and Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers, but did not disclose a dollar amount. www.mandiant.com

6waves Lopps, a Hong Kong-based social gaming company recently created via the merger of Six Waves and Lolapps, has raised VC funding from Nexon Co., a maker of microtransaction-based online games, and existing shareholder Insight Venture Partners. No financial terms were disclosed, but a regulatory filing suggests a raise of around $35 million. www.6waves.com

Vessix Vascular Inc. (f.k.a. Minnow Medical), a Laguna Hills, Calif.-based developer of novel percutaneous RF balloon catheter technology, has raised $23 million in Series B funding. Edmond de Rothschild Investment Partners led the round, and was joined by OrbiMed Advisors, CDF Dinova Venture Partners (Hong Kong) and return backers NeoMed Management, Christopher Weil & Company and Fjord Invest LLC. www.vessixvascular.com

Lending Club, a Redwood City, Calif.-based P2P platform for personal loans, has raised $25 million in Series D funding. Union Square Ventures led the round out of its Opportunity Fund, and was joined by return backers like Canaan Partners, Foundation Capital, Morgenthaler Ventures and Norwest Venture Partners. www.lendingclub.com

VOSS, a Norwegian bottled water company, has raised $18 million in new VC funding co-led byJuggernaut Capital Partners and Centra Capital. www.vosswater.com

Kixeye (f.k.a. Casual Collective), a San Francisco-based maker of casual action games, has raised $18 million in Series C funding. Jafco Ventures led the round, and was joined by return backers Trinity Ventures and Lightspeed Venture Partners. www.kixeye.com

Get Satisfaction, a San Francisco-based online community platform to help companies improve customer relations, has raised $10 million in Series B funding led by InterWest Partners. It previously raised $11 million from firms like Azure Capital Partners, First Round Capital, OATV, SofTech VC and Freestyle Capital. www.getsatisfaction.com

Salsa Labs, a Washington, D.C.-based provider of online apps that helps non-profits and campaigns organize supporters, has raised $5 million from Edison Ventures. www.salsalabs.com

TakeLessons, a San Diego-based company that helps users find certified voice and music instructors, has raised $6 million in new VC funding. Crosslink Capital led the round, and was joined by SofTech VC and individual angels. www.takelessons.com

Tantaline, a Waltham, Mass.-based maker of tanalum surface alloys for hot acid environments, has raised $3.6 million in Series B funding. Backers include Berwind Private Equity, Vaekstfonden and CC Holdings. www.tantaline.com

Lockerz, a Seattle-based, is in the process of closing a $45 million Series C round, according to All Things D. DAG Ventures isleading the round, with Live Nation Entertainment and return backer Liberty Media and Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers also participating. WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 4 

Bridgelux, a Livermore, Calif.-based provider of LED lighting technologies, has raised $60 million in Series E funding. Craton Equity Partners led the round, and was joined by return backers VantagePoint Capital Partners, DCM, El Dorado Ventures, Novus Energy Partners, Invus Group, VTS, Harris & Harris Group and Passport Capital. www.bridgelux.com

Restoration Robotics Inc., a Mountain View, Calif.-based developer of medical devices for hair transplantation, has raised $41 million in Series C funding. Clarus Ventures led the round, and was joined by return backers Sutter Hill Ventures, Alloy Ventures and Interwest Partners.www.restorationrobotics.com

VectorLearning, a Tampa, Fla.-based provider of online education solutions for post-acute healthcare and design and construction professionals, has raised $24 million from LLR Partners.www.vectorlearning.com

Leyden Energy Inc., a Fremont, Calif.–based maker of lithium-ion batteries for the consumer electronics, energy storage and electric vehicle markets, has raised $20 million in Series B funding. New Enterprise Associates led the round, and was joined by return backers Lightspeed Ventures, Sigma Partners and Walden International. www.leydenenergy.com

Ellipse Technologies Inc., an Irvine, Calif.-based developer of devices for orthopedic deformity prevention and management, has raised $17.6 million in Series C funding. HBM BioVentures and BioStar Ventures were joined by return backers Wexford Capital and the MedFocus Funds. www.ellipse-tech.com

Inkling Systems Inc., a San Francisco-based developer of interactive textbooks for the iPad, has raised $17 million in Series B funding. Tenaya Capital led the round, and was joined by Jafco Ventures, McGraw Hill and return backers Pearson Education and Sequoia Capital. www.inkling.com

Janrain, a Portland, Ore.-based provider of social identity management solutions for businesses, has raised $15.5 million in Series B funding. Emergence Capital Partners led the round, and was joined by Square 1 Bank and return backers Anthem Venture Partners, DFJ Frontier, RPM Ventures and Tim Draper. www.janrain.com

FiberZone Networks, a Washington, D.C.-based provider of advanced fiber management solutions for data centers and networks, has raised $12 million in new VC funding. S-Group Management led the round, and was joined by return backer Novak Biddle Venture Partners. www.fiberzone-networks.com

Appistry, a St. Louis-based provider of cloud solutions for large-scale analytics, has raised $12 million in new VC funding. eXome Capital led the round, and was joined by Stuart Mill. www.appistry.com

Spanfeller Media Group Inc., operator of a food and beverage-focused website called The Daily Meal, has raised $6 million in Series B funding. VantagePoint Capital Partners led the round, and was joined by return backers Softbank Capital, GSA Venture Partners, Lerer Ventures and RRE Ventures.www.spanfellergroup.net

ChoozOn, a Bellevue, Wash.-based personalized service for deal discovery and social shopping for deals, has raised $3.2 million in Series A funding led by Michael Orsak of Worldview Technology Partners and James Brown of AVG Ventures. www.choozon.com

Urjanet Inc., an Atlanta-based provider of energy use and environmental impact management for large-scale energy consumers, has raised $2.2 million in Series A funding from GRA Venture Fund and Imlay Investments. www.urjanet.com

Airy Labs Inc., a Palo Alto, Calif.-based developer of social learning games for young children, has raised $1.5 million in seed funding. Foundation Capital led the round, and was joined by Google Ventures and individual angels like Playdom co-founder Rick Thompson. www.airylabs.com

Erly.com, a new social startup from Hulu’s founding CTO Eric Feng, has raised an undisclosed amount of funding from Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers. John Doerr will join the company’s board of directors.www.erly.com

Six Scan, an Israeli provider of low-cost website security solutions, has raised an undisclosed amount of Series A funding led by YL Ventures. www.6scan.com

TUESDAY, AUGUST 2

ZocDoc, a New York-based provider of physician finder and appointment booking services, has raised $50 million in new VC funding led by DST Global. It previously raised more than $15 million from Khosla Ventures and Founders Fund (neither of which participated on this new round). www.zocdoc.com

Twitter announced that it has raised an undisclosed amount of new funding, in a round led by DST Global. The company had previously filed to raise $400 million in Series G funding at around an $8 billion valuation, and reports suggest it also raised another $400 million to be used for existing shareholder liquidity. www.twitter.com

FirstRain, a San Mateo, Calif.-based provider of a business monitoring engine, has raised $6.4 million in new VC funding led by majority owner Oak Investment Partners. The company has raised over $47 million since 2006. www.firstrain.com

WhaleShark Media, an Austin, Texas-based online coupon and deals marketplace, said that it has raised an undisclosed amount of funding from Google Ventures. It also has added Brian Sharples, CEO of HomeAway, to its board of directors. The company previously raised venture capital from Austin Ventures, Norwest Venture Partners and Adams Street Partners. www.whalesharkmedia.com

Hearsay Social, a San Francisco-based provider of social media SaaS solutions for brands with local branches and representatives, has raised $18 million in Series B funding. New Enterprise Associatesled the round, and was joined by return backer Sequoia Capital. www.hearsaysocial.com

BigCommerce (f.k.a. Interspire), an Austin, Texas-based provider of ecommerce software for SMEs, has raised $15 million in Series A funding from General Catalyst Partners. www.bigcommerce.com

Strava, a San Francisco-based provider of web and mobile apps for cyclists and other athletes, has raised $12.6 million in Series B funding. Madrone Capital led the round, and was joined by return backer Sigma Partners. www.strava.com

Intuity Medical Inc., a Sunnyvale, Calif.-based developer of blood glucose monitors, has raised $12 million in new Series D funding led by Accuitive Medical Ventures. The company announced $64 million in the first tranche of its Series D round in early 2010, from Venrock, Emergent Medical Partners, Investor Growth Capital, Thomas, McNerney and Partners, U.S. Venture Partners and Versant Ventures.www.intuitymedical.com

NextIO Inc., an Austin, Texas-based vendor of virtual IO switches, has raised $8.5 million in Series E funding, according to VentureWire. Intuitive Venture Partners led the round, and was joined by return backers like Crescendo Ventures and  Adams Capital Management. Existing shareholders Dell and JK&B Capital did not participate. www.nextio.com

Lucid Commerce, a Seattle-based, has raised $8 million in Series C funding. Rho Ventures led the round, and was joined by StarVest Partners, Positec USA Inc. and return backers OVP Venture Partners and Greycroft Partners. www.lucidcommerce.com

Kimbia, an Austin, Texas-based provider of online fundraising and event management software, has raised over $4 million in Series B funding led by S3 Ventures. www.kimbia.com

Eyewitness Surveillance, a provider of remote video surveillance and monitoring services for automobile dealerships, has raised $2 million from Peterson Partners. The company also raised an undisclosed amount of capital from The Cambria Group and individual investors.www.eyewitnesssurveillance.com
