* This is the first review I’ve seen of Charlie Gasparino’s new book, which chronicles Wall Street’s love-then-hate relationship with Obama (love first, hate later). It identified “Blackstone partner” Mark Gallogly as a major player (“the man largely responsible for convincing the bankers to meet with Obama”). But Gallogly hasn’t been at Blackstone since 2006. Not sure if it’s an error in the book, or in the review.
