An iPhone killer it ain’t, but the newest member of MetroPCS’s lineup runs with everyone’s favorite little green robot.

AndroidGuys picked up another Android spyshot, this time a Motorola slider running on the MetroPCS network (or at least with a splash screen strongly suggesting it will).  This adds yet another network to Android’s impressive and growing list.

According to their source, this device runs Android 2.1/MOTOBLUR and is powered by a 600MHz processor and a 3-megapixel camera.  The slider keyboard can be seen below.

Last week, it was revealed that Sprint’s pre-paid Boost Mobile would be carrying an Android phone.   With MetroPCS, there aren’t many more mobile carriers in the US to compete for.

Although Android has a presence on all four major US networks, AT&T is sorely lacking with only one poorly reviewed Android 1.5 device, the Motorola Backflip.

Word on the street is that AT&T’s Android portfolio will be expanding very soon, perhaps as early as this week, with the introduction of the HTC Aria, a smaller,GSM version of the popular HTC Incredible.

Dell is also on its way to AT&T  with the announced Aero and the expected five-inch Streak mini tablet Android devices.

As for MetroPCS? For now they have as many Android devices as AT&T.
