Pay ranges from minimum wage to $10-15/hr at really nice places. The best though is working at a small (one guard) pool, like in a condo or apartment building. Sleep and read all while getting paid. If someone thinks they’re drowning, tell them to stand up (since the water in small pools rarely goes over 5′ deep.
