What business needs from the 2020 election

Voters want different things from their government. And no election can or will satisfy everyone. However, this is a crossroads moment for business and the U.S. economy. Voters are eager for short-term action to mitigate the pain of the pandemic and long-term solutions to ensure growth. The path forward will be greatly influenced by the occupant of the White House, of course—four more years of Trump or a clean slate with Biden—but also by what happens in the Senate and in elections around the country.
