Glen is a commerce editor on the Fortune personal finance team covering housing, mortgages, and credit. He’s been immersed in the world of personal finance since 2019, holding editor and writer roles at USA TODAY Blueprint, Forbes Advisor, and LendingTree before he joined Fortune. Glen loves getting a chance to dig into complicated topics and break them down into manageable pieces of information that folks can easily digest and use in their daily lives.

After earning a bachelor’s degree in journalism from Radford University in 2014, Glen decided to double down on being a wordsmith and communications nerd and so earned his master’s degree in technical and professional communication from East Carolina University in 2022. He also picked up a graduate certificate in marketing along the way.

In his personal life, Glen is an avid foodie and an unabashed fan of the superhero and fantasy fiction genres. If you spot him in the wild, he’ll probably be prepping a rack of ribs for the grill, listening to “The Lord of the Rings” on audiobook or launching into an enthusiastic analysis of how Matt Reeves’ film “The Batman” shows influences from graphic novels like “Year One” and “The Long Halloween.”
