Brooke Seipel

Brooke Seipel is a former editor on Fortune’s news desk, writing the daily markets wrap from the west coast and lurking and posting on Reddit as Fortune. Brooke has old-school local journalism roots, starting at the Orange County Register out of college and running a weekly paper for the cities of Orange and Villa Park. From 2016 to 2021, Brooke worked at The Hill in Washington, D.C. covering politics and ending as the Managing Editor of Social Media. She’s also served in senior audience development roles at The Messenger and International Business Times.
