The 2024 Fortune Global Forum took place from Nov. 11-12, less than a week after the U.S. presidential election and a prime time for global business leaders to gather and strategize for the future. The two-day lineup of speaker sessions, networking breaks, and reflection centered around the new disruptive forces, like AI, that threaten existing business practices while promising new potential for growth.
How can CEOs balance the increasingly impatient demands of shareholders with the changing expectations of employees? What does it take to survive in an economy dominated by e-commerce and the digital world? How can leaders infuse AI into their company’s processes in an efficient and ethical way?
Conversations with speakers like PayPal President and CEO Alex Chriss and Target Chairman and CEO Brian Cornell tackled those pressing questions. Other events included an off-the-record conversation between global CEOs and business ambassadors, including co-host and Indeed CEO Chris Hyams, about how to anticipate and respond to the globalization that is changing corporate culture and structure.
The full list of speakers and participants included former NFL star quarterback Tom Brady, Sanofi CEO Paul Hudson, and Tapestry CEO Joanne Crevoiserat.
