Our Experience With 1st Phorm Micro Factor
1st Phorm is based in the St. Louis area, was co-founded by Andy Frisella and Chris Klein, and is now run by CEO Sal Frisella. It launched Phorm Energy with Anheuser-Busch and UFC CEO Dana White in 2009.

1st Phorm Micro Factor are packs that combine six supplements into one, including CoQ10, essential fatty acids (EFAs), fruits and vegetables, a multivitamin, and a probiotic. Mindy, a registered dietitian, tested 1st Phorm Micro Factor. Here’s what she liked (and found less than ideal) about the nutrient packs.
What We Liked
Here’s what Mindy rated highly after trying 1st Phorm Micro Factor:
- First impression (5 out of 5): “At first glance, the packet of vitamins looks overwhelming to me. However, I’m not someone who generally takes quite this many supplements at once,” Mindy said. “I do love the idea of the premade packets; this is far less overwhelming and bulky than having six different supplement containers. It would be so simple to throw in a bag on the way out of the door or to pack for a trip by simply counting out the number of packets needed. The box sits a little bit open once unpackaged, making it easy to grab the next packet, but not ideal to pack the whole box with you.”
- Ease of reading and following instructions (5 out of 5): The instructions say to “take one packet with water once a day. For best results, consume with a meal. Do not consume more than two packets daily.” Mindy observed that the instructions are “easy to read and are fairly straightforward.”
What We Would Change
Here’s what Mindy would improve about 1st Phorm Micro Factor:
- Swallowability (1 out of 5): Mindy didn’t notice any taste or feeling after taking Micro Factor. She did note that she didn’t enjoy taking all the supplements (eight pills) and that she also found a couple of them difficult to swallow.
- Price and overall value (1 out of 5): Personally, Mindy doesn’t see herself being able to maintain this number of pills daily and does not feel that it is necessary. “The supplement facts of the multivitamin does cover most bases, but is not as high in certain nutrients and other more tailored women’s multivitamins,” she said. Our tester added: “CoQ10 is also at about the average amount per serving. The antioxidant supplement, along with the fruits and veggies capsules, seems to be doubling down to me, especially since it just doesn’t compare to the benefits of adding in a serving of fruits or veggies. Otherwise, the multivitamin contains antioxidant vitamins like E, A, and C, and CoQ10 has an antioxidant function as well. The probiotic contains 8 billion CFU of probiotics total, which is a little bit on the lower side compared to some other probiotics that go up to 30 or even 50 billion. Having the EFA supplement, containing EPA and DHA (which are the valuable fats found in fatty fish), can be good for people who do not get enough of these fats in their diet.”
Why the Right Vitamins Matter to Professionals
It can be difficult to prioritize healthy, balanced nutrition when you are managing a busy work calendar, frequent travel, and late nights. For executives, the right vitamins aren’t merely a wellness trend: they’re a supportive part of keeping your most vital asset—yourself—running at full capacity.

For example, low vitamin B12 is linked to confusion and poor memory. That’s a high cost when you’re making high-stakes decisions on a daily basis. It’s more than just about vitamins, however. The best move for leaders is to get bloodwork done to see where the actual gaps are, that way, you can eat the right foods and take any necessary supplements to reach and maintain your health goals.
Who It’s For & Who It’s Not For
1st Phorm Micro Factor may be a good fit for:
- Professionals who prefer a comprehensive daily supplement pack instead of a standalone multivitamin along with other supplements
- Folks who want to simplify their routine
- People comfortable taking eight pills per day
- Shoppers who are willing to pay more for the convenience of a once-daily supplement pack
1st Phorm Micro Factor may not be ideal for:
- Folks who want to avoid proprietary blends
- Budget-conscious shoppers who are looking for an affordable daily multivitamin
- People who prefer to swallow the least amount of pills possible or consume their vitamins and minerals via gummy or drink supplementation
- Folks who want to choose and adjust their supplements as needed due to clinically diagnosed deficiencies
Comparing 1st Phorm to Other Products

Fortune’s Final Thoughts
For executives whose calendars leave little room for a six-bottle supplement routine, 1st Phorm Micro Factor combines CoQ10, essential fatty acids (EFAs), a fruit and vegetable blend, a multivitamin, and a probiotic into a single daily packet. Each pre-portioned pack slips easily into a briefcase or carry-on, making it simple to stay consistent through frequent meetings and business travel. At roughly $2 a day, with auto-ship available, it’s one less errand to run.
The tradeoff: Each packet contains eight pills, and the brand recommends taking it with a meal. Our dietitian tester also noted that some of the six formulas overlap, and the probiotic dose is modest.
