We get it. It’s been an exhausting week. Heck, it’s been an exhausting year. So the thought of planning and preparing another holiday meal has very little appeal, even for the most enthusiastic of chefs.
Here’s the good news: Most major restaurants don’t take the day off. While smaller neighborhood stores might celebrate the holiday, it’s easy to find a chain restaurant that’s open—assuming the Omicron variant hasn’t engulfed your community and the store managers have a sufficient number of employees willing to come in.
As with every business on a holiday, hours may vary, and some franchises might not follow the corporate mandates, so it’s always a good idea to call first. But here are a few places you can visit to avoid another day of cooking.
