Black Friday, at its best, is a chaotic affair that overflows with FOMO and can befuddle even the most grizzled of bargain hunters. This year, that disarray is amplified by several degrees, as retailers stretch sale dates and spread the deals out.

Deciding how to divide your time and where to focus your efforts is confusing, but the editors of Dealnews and BlackFriday.com, who spend their days scouring the ads and doing price comparisons to previous sales, have come up with some suggestions on the best deals of the year.
