Louis Vuitton has a new, high-end creation for the iPhone 7 Plus.
Louis Vuitton is now selling an iPhone case made of golden crocodile leather for $5,500. The case, called the Eye-Trunk, is designed for Apple’s big-screen iPhone 7 Plus and resembles a trunk that could be used to store clothes.
According to the luxury fashion designer, the Eye-Trunk was showcased at the recent Louis Vuitton Fashion Show in Paris and is designed to pay tribute to the fashion house’s “origins as a trunk designer.”

Louis Vuitton is no stranger to luxury iPhone cases and already sells protective covers for the iPhone 7 Plus for more than $1,000. However, those cases don’t have the crocodile leather that the company is using in its latest option.
Regardless, $5,500 is substantially more expensive than just about any other iPhone case available. In fact, some small third-party accessory makers sell iPhone cases for as little as a few dollars. Apple’s (AAPL) own iPhone Silicone Case costs just $35.
