Twitter blew up after Monday’s presidential debate, with people from all sides of the political spectrum responding to both candidates’ comments and appearance throughout the evening.

Rosie O’Donnell, writing after Donald Trump doubled down on his past comments about her during the debate, let the Republican nominee have it all-caps style in response to a person who said she got “burned so hard.”

HE WILL NEVER BE PRESIDENT … @WeinerAnne

Politicians released statements reacting to the debate, including Ted Cruz, who endorsed Trump for President last week despite a deep divide between the two men.

House Speaker Paul Ryan released a statement following the debate, and said, “Hillary Clinton clearly represents the past—and a third term of Barack Obama’s progressive policies.”

Democratic Sen. Barbara Boxer came out siding with Clinton, and wrote that Trump “seemed bored and tired. Low energy, thirsty and cranky”—the “low energy” dig Trump used for Jeb Bush against him.

He seemed bored and tired. Low energy, thirsty and cranky. She was high energy, knowledgeable and yes, likable.

Several celebrities cheered Clinton on.

Hillary Clinton showed us, for the millionth time, just how qualified she is for this job. Sleep well knowing a remarkable woman is ready.

Other people took the chance to slam Trump’s debate performance.

I wrote Law & Order. The only role Donald Trump could have in Law & Order is as a rich bastard suspected of killing his wife.

— David Slack (@slack2thefuture) September 27, 2016

Hillary Clinton belongs in the White House. Donald Trump belongs on my show.

I dunno, you guys…but it kinda feels like both teams lost tonight.

I don't think this is the game America deserves.#MondayNightFootball
