Not everyone has the stomach to run their own business and manage a company with hundreds of employees.
But that’s exactly what Gary Vaynerchuk, CEO of VaynerMedia and author of #AskGaryVee, does every day. He boasts “enormous retention” of employees over his entrepreneurial career.
“I have very little turnover in the two businesses that I’ve built because I actually know what all 625 people of these people are thinking and caring about,” he says.
Surprisingly, Vaynerchuk does not bring up his experience and hard skills. He owes much of his success to a personality trait that he says has been a huge advantage in running his ventures.
“People who know me or know a little bit about me are going to laugh at this,” he says of the trait.
