Do Kanye West’s fans love him enough to put together his next big release themselves?
The hip-hop superstar toured the Swedish offices of furniture retailer Ikea (IKEA) this week, which sparked myriad rumors online that a collaboration between West and the furniture giant could be in the works.
While the company confirmed reports on Tuesday that West had visited Ikea, touring facilities that included the company’s design division, a company spokesman would not comment to the New York Times about whether or not the company is collaborating with West anytime soon. “Time will tell,” Ikea’s Jakob Holmstrom told the Times.

In recent years, the rapper has expanded his focus on fashion, including collaborations with French fashion brand A.P.C. West worked with athletic apparel giant Nike (NKE) on his popular Air Yeezy shoe line before a falling out with Nike led to West taking his next sneaker collaboration to rival Adidas (ADS) last year to produce the Yeezy Boost.
