Employees of Apple will get a 50% discount on the soon-to-be-released Apple Watch, the company said this week.
The half-off discount applies to the Sport and Watch versions of the product, priced at about $350 and $1,000 respectively. If an Apple employee wants an Edition version of the watch, priced at more than $10,000, they will get a $550 discount, 9to5Mac.com reports.
The Apple Watch is the first major product launch Apple has undertaken since Tim Cook took over as CEO from Steve Jobs. In its last earnings report, Apple stated record earnings of $18 billion.
