Venture Capital Deals

MapR, a San Jose, Calif.-based Hadoop technology company, has raised $80 million in Series D funding. Google Capital led the round, and was joined by Qualcomm Ventures and return backers Lightspeed Venture Partners, Mayfield Fund, NEA and Redpoint Ventures. MapR also secured a $30 million debt facility led by Silicon Valley Bank. www.mapr.com

Cidara Therapeutics Inc.
 (f.k.a. K2 Tx), a San Diego-based developer of antifungal drugs, has raised $32 million in Series A funding. Backers include 5AM Ventures, Aisling Capital, Frazier Healthcare and InterWest Partners.

Chloe + Isabel
, a New York-based “social retail jewelry” company, has raised $15 million in Series C funding. SoftBank Capital led the round, and was joined by return backers General Catalyst Partners, First Round Capital, Forerunner Ventures and Floodgate Fund. www.chloeandisabel.com

Truveris
, a New York-based platform for pharmacy pricing and benefits analysis, has raised $12.75 million in Series C funding. Canaan Partners led the round, and was joined by return backers New Leaf Venture Partners, Tribeca Venture Partners, New Atlantic Ventures and First Round. www.truveris.com

Yik Yak, an Atlanta-based hyper-local social messaging app, has raised $10 million in Series A funding.DCM led the round, and was joined by Azure Capital Partners, Renren Inc. and Tim Draper. Past backers included Vaizra Investments and Atlanta Ventures. www.yikyakapp.com

CoreOS
, a Palo Alto, Calif.-based provider of Linux solutions for large server deployments, has raised $8 million in new VC funding. Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers led the round, and was joined by Sequoia Capital and Fuel Capital. www.coreos.com

Osper
, a UK-based prepaid, parent-controlled banking service for children and teenagers, has raised 6 million in Series A funding led by Index Ventures. www.osper.com

Private Equity Deals

Investcorp has ended talks to acquire a majority stake in Italian fashion house Roberto Cavalli, according to Reuters. The private equity firm reportedly would not meet Roberto Cavalli’s E450 million asking price. www.robertocavalli.com

WhiteGlove Health Inc., an Austin, Texas-based provider of chronic care and population health management solutions, has acquired Glenridge HealthCare Solutions, a Columbia, Md.-based provider of tech-enabled network development and consulting services. No financial terms were disclosed. WhiteGlove is a portfolio company of Enhanced Equity Funds and Biomark Capital.www.glenridgehealth.com

IPOs

Affimed Therapeutics, a German developer of cancer immunotherapies, has filed for a $75 million IPO. It plans to trade on the Nasdaq under ticker symbol AFMD, with Jefferies, Leerink Partners and BMO Capital Markets serving as lead underwriters. Shareholders include OrbiMed Advisors, Aeris Capital, Novo Nordisk, BioMedInvest and Life Sciences Partners. www.affimed.com

Auris Medical Holding
, a Swiss pharma company focused on inner ear disorders, has filed for an $86.25 million IPO. It plans to trade on the Nasdaq under ticker symbol EARS, with Jefferies and Leerink Partners serving as lead underwriters. Shareholders in the pre-revenue company include Sofinnova Venture Partners (19.3% pre-IPO stake), Sofinnova Capital (18.6%), Adamant Global Generika Funds (11.4%) and Idinvest Partners (9.1%). www.aurismedical.com

Lending Club, a San Francisco-based peer-to-peer lending platform, has hired Morgan Stanley and Goldman Sachs to manage and IPO for late 2014, according to the WSJ. Read more.

Old Mutual Asset Management
, a $203 billion AUM asset management group being spun out of Old Mutual PLC (LSE: OLM), has filed for a $100 million IPO. It plans to trade on the NYSE under ticker symbol OMAM, with BofA Merrill Lynch listed as left lead underwriter. www.oldmutualus.com

Univar Inc.
, a Redmond, Wash.-based distributor of chemistry and related services, has filed for a $100 million IPO. It plans to trade under ticker symbol UNVR, with Deutsche Bank, Goldman Sachs and BofA Merrill Lynch serving as lead underwriters. The company previously filed for an IPO in June 2010, but withdrew the offering after Clayton Dubilier & Rice acquired a 42.5% stake in the company. Other backers include CVC Capital Partners, Parcom, Apollo Global Management, Highbridge Capital Management and Norwest Equity Partners. www.univar.com

M&A

Gryphon Investors has agreed to sell Flagstone Foods, a St. Paul, Minn.-based provider of branded and private-label healthy snacks to North American retailers, to TreeHouse Foods (NYSE: THS) for $860 million. Read more.

AT&T (NYSE: T) has agreed to sell its 8.3% stake in Mexican telecom company America Movil to majority shareholder Carlos Slim for $5.6 billion. Read more.

Philips said that it will merge its automotive and LED lighting businesses into a stand-alone company, and that it may raise capital for the business from outside investors. www.philips.com

Acon Investments is seeking a buyer for Phoenix-based restaurant chain Peter Piper Pizza, according to LBO Wire. www.peterpiperpizza.com

The Carlyle Group
 is considering a sale process for British taxi company Addison Lee, just one year after acquiring a majority stake for 300 million, according to local press reports.www.carlyle.com

Globo (AIM: GBO) has acquired Sourcebits, a San Francisco-based provider of mobile app development services. No financial terms were disclosed. Sourcebits had raised around $10 million in VC funding from IDG Ventures India and Sequoia Capital India. www.sourcebits.com

Lion Capital
 is prepping a sale process for canned seafood company Bumble Bee Foods, which could be valued at upwards of $150 million, according to Reuters. www.bumblebee.com

Perion Network Ltd. (Nasdaq: PERI) has agreed to acquire Grow Mobile Inc., a Menlo Park, Calif.-based provider of a mobile ad platform. The deal is valued at upwards of $42 million in cash and stock, including $17 million payable at closing. Grow Mobile was seeded in 2012 by Bessemer Venture Partners and Signia Venture Partners. www.perion.com

Thomas H. Lee Partners
 is considering a sale process for Acosta, a Jacksonville, Fla.-based outsourced sales and marketing company, according to the WSJ. The deal could be valued at more than $4 billion. www.acosta.com

Westerly Wind, a portfolio company of US Renewables Group, has sold South Plains Wind Energy LLC, a late-stage development project located on approximately 51k acres northeast of Lubbock, Texas, to First Wind Texas Holdings II LLC. No financial terms were disclosed.www.westerlywind.com
