CommonBond, a New York-based student lending platform, has raised over $100 million in new equity and debt financing. Tribeca Venture Partners and The Social + Capital Partnership led the equity tranche, and were joined by Vikram Pandit (ex-Citi CEO), Tom Glocer (ex-Thomson Reuters CEO) and Tom Kalaris (ex-Barclays exec). www.commonbond.co

Otonomy Inc., a San Diego-based developer of therapeutics for diseases and disorders of the inner and middle ear, has raised $45.9 million in Series C funding. OrbiMed Advisors led the round, and was joined by Aperture Venture Partners, Osage University Partners and return backers Avalon Ventures, Domain Associates, Novo Ventures, RiverVest Venture Partners and TPG Biotech. www.otonomy.com

Datto Inc.
, a Norwalk, Conn.-based provider of on-site and offsite backup, disaster recovery and business continuitysolutions, has raised $25 million in growth equity funding led by General Catalyst Partners. It is the first investment for Steve Herrod, the former VMware CTO who joined General Catalyst back in February. www.dattobackup.com

, the UK maker of an Android keyboard app, has raised $17.5 million in Series B funding.Index Ventures led the round, and was joined by Nick Hynes and Carl Uminski (Somo), Jon Craton (previously Cramer Systems) the Cambridge Capital Group and return backer Octopus Investments.www.swiftkey.net

RiverMeadow Software
, a San Jose, Calif.-based provider of automated server migration solutions for carrier and service provider clouds, has raised $12 million in Series B funding. Backers include Cisco Systems and Violin Memory. www.rivermeadow.com

Delphinus Medical Technologies
, a Plymouth Township, Minn.-based developer of a whole breast ultrasound tomography system, has raised $11 million in new equity and debt funding. Arboretum Ventures and Beringea co-led the equity tranche, and were joined by North Coast Technology Investors.  www.delphinusmt.com

Mind-NRG
, a Swiss developer of neuregulins to treat neurodegenerative diseases, has raised €6 million in Series B funding. LRM (Belgium) led the round, and was joined by return backer Index Ventures.www.mind-nrg.com

Silicor Materials Inc.
, a San Jose, Calif.-based maker of solar silicon and aluminum by-products, has raised $6 million in new VC funding from return backer Hudson Clean Energy Partners. The company also said that it has retained Robert W. Baird & Co. to assist with its next capital raise.www.silicormaterials.com

Vacatia
, a San Francisco-based marketplace for buying and selling timeshare stakes, has raised $5 million in first-round funding from individual investors like Spencer Rascoff (CEO of Zillow), Erik Blachford (ex-CEO of Expedia) and Greg Waldorf (entrepreneur-in-residence at Accel Partners). www.vacatia.com

Accipiter Radar Technologies Inc
., a provider of radar systems and wide-area radar information network solutions, has raised C$4.7 million in equity funding from Priveq Capital Funds. Accipiter has offices in Orchard Park, N.Y. and Niagara, Ontario. www.accipiterradar.com

AppMesh, a San Francisco-based mobile sales enablement and CRM solution, has raised $3 million in Series A funding. InterWest Partners led the round, and was joined by TDF Ventures and the Siebel Systems Founders’ Circle. www.appme.sh
