Altor has agreed to acquire n 80% stake in French ski equipment maker Rossignol Group fromChartreuse et Mont Blanc, an affiliate of Macquarie Group. No financial terms were disclosed. Minority shareholders on the deal would include company management, Weber Investment and Rossignol’s founding Boix-Vives family. Focus Financial Partners, a New York-based partnership of independent wealth management firms, has raised $216 million in minority equity funding from Centerbridge Capital Partners. Early Focus Financial investors Summit Partners and Polaris Ventures will remain shareholders, although both sold a portion of their ownership stakes via this transactions. www.focusfinancialpartners.com

GEA Group AG (DB: G1A) has hired Deutsche Bank to find a private equity buyer for its heat exchanger unit, according to Reuters. The deal could be valued at more than €1.3 billion.www.gea.com

Nautic Partners has acquired Applied Consultants Inc., a Longview, Texas-based provider of inspection services to the oil and gas pipeline infrastructure industry, from Pine Tree Equity Management.
