Liquid Robotics a Sunnyvale, Calif.–based provider of autonomous ocean robots and ocean data services, has raised $45 million in Series E funding. Riverwood Capital led the round, and was joined by return backers like VantagePoint Capital Partners. www.liquidrobotics.com

ShareThis, a Palo Alto, Calif.-based provider of social sharing tools, has raised $23 million in Series C funding. T-Venture led the round, and was joined by Harbourton, West Capital investors and return backers Blue Chip Venture Co., Draper Fisher Jurvetson, Illinois Ventures, Matthew Pritzker Co., Mercury Fund and RPM Ventures. ShareThis also announced that it has acquired Socialize, maker of a drop-in social app, for an undisclosed amount. www.sharethis.com

ProfitBricks
, a Germany–based infrastructure-as-a-service company focused on cloud computing delivery, has raised $19.5 million in VC funding from United Internet AG and company founders.www.profitbricks.com

NewsCred
, a New York–based content marketing and syndication platform, has raised $15 million in new VC funding. Mayfield Fund led the round, and was joined by Greycroft Partners and return backers FirstMark Capital and IA Ventures. www.newscred.com

Vasona Networks Inc., a Santa Clara, Calif.-based provider of platforms for mobile network capacity and resource management, has raised $12 million in Series B funding. Bessemer Venture Partners led the round, and was joined by New Venture Partners and an undisclosed strategic investor.www.vasonanetworks.com

Outbrain, a New York-based content discovery platform, has raised $9.5 million in new equity funding, according to a regulatory filing. The company previously raised around $64 million from firms like Index Ventures, Carmel Ventures and Lightspeed Venture Partners. www.outbrain.com

Diablo Technologies, an Ottawa-based provider of memory system interface products, has raised $7.5 million in new VC funding led by U.S. Venture Partners. The round total is now $36 million, including a prior $28 million first close from Battery Ventures, Celtic House Venture Partners, BDC Venture Capital and Hasso Plattner Ventures. www.diablo-technologies.com

Savara Pharmaceuticals, an Austin, Texas-based developer of pulmonary drugs, has closed its Series B round with a total of $16 million. It previously had held an $8.6 million first close. Backers include The Keiretsu Forum, Tech Coast Angels, Rady Venture Fund, the Central Texas Angel Network and North Texas Angels. www.savarapharma.com

Postmates, an on-demand urban delivery app in San Francisco and Seattle, has raised $5 million in new VC funding led by Founders Fund, according to TechCrunch. www.postmates.com

Concurrent Inc., a San Francisco–based enterprise big data application platform startup, has raised $4 million in Series A funding co-led by True Ventures and Rembrandt Venture Partners.www.concurrentinc.com

QPID, a Boston-based provider of health record acceleration and intelligence solutions, has raised $4 million in VC funding. Backers include Matrix Partners, Partners Innovation Fund, Massachusetts General Physicians Organization and Cardinal Partners. www.qpidhealth.com

AdzCentral, a Singapore-based targeted online advertising platform, has raised $3.2 million in VC funding from Digital Media Partners and Electric Sheep Capital. www.adzcentral.com

Masabi, a London-based provider of transit mobile ticketing and fare collection solutions, has raised $2.8 million in VC funding. Fontinalis Partners and MMC Ventures were joined by return backer m8 Capital. The company also announced plans to open a New York office. www.masabi.com

AgreeYa Mobility, a Mountain View, Calif.-based enterprise mobility startup, has raised an undisclosed amount of VC funding from Saama Capital. www.onvelop.com
