AMP Capital has agreed to acquire a 49% stake in British airport Newcastle International Airport for approximately £150 million from Copenhagen Airports. Rival bidders had included 3i Group and France’s Antin. www.ampcapital.com.au
TPG Capital is among the bidders for London airport Stansted, which was put up for sale earlier this year by BAA, according to the FT. Rival bidders include Macquarie and a joint offer from Manchester Airports Group and Australia’s Industry Funds Management.
