Advent International has increased its offer for Polish retailer EKO Holding (Warsaw: EKO) to approximately $86.91 million, following which Mid Europea Partners bumped up its own offer to around $98 million. Former EKO CEO Krzysztof Gradecki has tendered his 55% stake to Advent at the lower price. www.eko.pl

Arbor Investments has completed its acquisition of Columbus Manufacturing, a Chicago-based maker of salamis and other deli meats, from Endeavour Capital. No financial terms were disclosed, but Dow Jones previously reported that the was for more than $200 million. www.columbussalame.com
