Allot Communications Ltd. (Nasdaq: ALLT) has agreed to acquire Oversi Networks, an Israel–based provider of rich-media caching and content delivery solutions for Internet video and P2P traffic. The deal is valued at upwards of $21 million, including a $16 million up-front cash payment. Oversi had raised over $9 million in VC funding, from firms like Carmel Ventures, Cisco Systems, LabOne Innovations, StageOne Ventures, Smac Partners and TempPark Fund. www.oversi.com

Suntory, a Japanese food and beverage company, has offered to acquire the remaining 18% stake in Singapore-based Cerebos Pacific (SGX:C20) for S$6.60 per share in cash. The deal values Cerebos at over S$2 billion (US$1.6 billion).
