The Carlyle Group and TPG Capital are in talks to acquire a minority stake in Indian hospital chain Fortis Healthcare India Ltd., according to Reuters. The deal could be worth around $250 million, for between 15% and 20% of Fortis.

Court Square Capital Partners has agreed to acquire Physiotherapy Associates, an Exton, Penn.-based provider of outpatient rehabilitation services, from Water Street Healthcare Partners and Wind Point Partners. No financial terms were disclosed. www.courtsquare.com

CVC Capital Partners has agreed to acquire Prompt Holdings, a Japanese employment agency, fromCerberus Capital Management for an undisclosed amount. www.cvc.com

Veracity Payment Solutions Inc., an Atlanta-based provider of payment transaction processing services and related products to small and mid-sized merchants, has raised $80 million in private equity funding from Great Hill Partners. Existing shareholder GTX Partners and company management will retain “a significant ownership position.” www.veracitypayments.com
