Agile Energy Inc., a San Bruno, Calif.-based developer of utility-scale renewable power generating projects, has raised $24 million in new VC funding from return backer Good Energies. www.agileenergy.com

JouleX, an Atlanta-based provider of enterprise energy management systems for datacenters and distributed office environments, has raised $17 million in new VC funding. Sigma Partners, Flybridge Capital Partners and Intel Capital were joined by return backers Target Partners and TechOperators. www.joulex.net

Kovio, a Milpitas, Calif.-based developer of semiconductor products using thin-film technologies, has raised $15 million in sixth-round funding. Tyco Retail Solutions led the round, and was joined by return backers Kleiner Perkins, Caufield & Byers, DAG Ventures, Northgate Capital, Harris & Harris, Flagship Ventures and Pangaea Ventures. Wave Accounting Inc., a Toronto-based provider of free online accounting software for small businesses, has raised C$1.5 million in seed funding led by INKEF Capital (joint venture of OMERS and ABP). www.WaveAccounting.com

 

THURSDAY, JUNE 9

Coupons.com Inc., a Mountain View, Calif.-based provider of digital coupons, has raised $200 million in new equity funding. No investor information was disclosed. Up to $100 million of the capital will be used to facilitate liquidity for employees and early investors. www.coupons.com

Virsto Software, a Sunnyvale, Calif.-based provider of storage solutions for virtual servers and desktop, has raised $12 million in Series B funding. InterWest Partners led the round, and was joined by return backers August Capital and Canaan Partners. Virsto also announced the acquisition of EvoStor, a provider of storage virtualization technology for VMware environments. www.virsto.com

Room 77, a Sunnyvale, Calif.-based hotel search engine with room-specific details, has raised $10.5 million in Series B funding. General Catalyst Partners led the round, and was joined by return backers PAR Capital Management, Sutter Hill Ventures, Felicis Ventures, Rich Barton and Erik Blachford. www.room77.com

J. Hilburn, a Dallas, Texas-based luxury men’s clothing brand, has raised $5 million in new VC funding. Bridgescale Partners led the round, and was joined by return backer Battery Ventures.

WellDog, a Laramie, Wyoming-based developer of a natural gas testing technical service , has raised $5 million in equity and debt financing. Simon Ashton led the round, and was joined by members of Sacramento Angels, Houston Angels and other individual investors.

ADmantX, a Hartford, Conn.-based provider of semantic page-level analysis, has raised $2.8 million in growth equity funding from Atlante Ventures Mezzogiorno, the VC unit of Italian bank Intesa Sanpaolo. AMmantX was spun off last year from Expert System. www.admantx.com

American Aerogel, a Rochester, N.Y.-based provider of thermal insulation solutions for packages, has raised $2.5 million in equity funding from Cycle Capital Management. www.americanaerogel.com

LockPath, an Overland Park, Kansas-based provider of governance, risk and compliance applications, has raised $2 million in Series A funding. El Dorado Ventures led the round, and was joined by Vesbridge Partners and the investment vehicle of former eBay COO Maynard Webb. www.lockpath.com

Bloom Studio Inc., a San Francisco-based visual discovery app company, has raised an undisclosed amount of seed funding. O’Reilly Alpha Tech Ventures led the round, and was joined by Launch Capital. Existing shareholders include Betaworks, SV Angel and Stewart Butterfield. www.bloom.io

WEDNESDAY, JUNE 8

YapStone Inc., a San Francisco-based provider of electronic payments-as-a-service for property management, has raised $50 million in VC funding led by Accel Partners. www.yapstone.com

Rally Software, a Boulder, Colo.-based provider of application lifecycle management solutions, has raised $20 million in new VC funding led by Meritech Capital Partners. www.rallydev.com

Silver Tail Systems Inc., a London-based provider of predictive analytics for detection and prevention of online fraud and abuse, has raised around $20 million in Series B funding. Andreessen Horowitz led the round, and was joined by return backers Leapfrog Ventures, Seraph Group and StartUp Capital Ventures. www.silvertailsystems.com

Aryaka, a Milpitas, Calif.-based provider of a WAN optimization and application acceleration solution, has raised $15 million in Series B funding. Nexus Venture Partners led the round, and was joined fellow return backers Trinity Ventures and Mohr Davidow Ventures. www.aryaka.com

Cyterix Pharmaceutics, a San Francisco-based developer of cancer therapeutics, has raised $9.2 million in Series A funding from The Column Group and SV Life Sciences. www.cyterix.com

Telltale Games, a San Rafael, Calif.-based digital publisher of cinematic adventures and provider of episodic content delivery, has raised $7 million in Series C funding. Return backers include IDG Ventures and Granite Ventures. www.telltalegames.com

Kaiam Corp., a Newark, Calif.-based maker of photonic integrated circuits, has raised $5 million in Series B funding. Triplepoint Capital led the round, and was joined by return backer U.S. Venture Partners. www.Kaiamcorp.com

XYDO, a Park City, Utah-based social news network, has raised $1.25 million in seed funding led by Epic Ventures. www.xydo.com

Epiomed Therapeutics Inc., an Irvine, Calif.-based developer of anti-emetic (anti-vomiting) and anti-motion sickness compounds, has raised an undisclosed amount of Series A funding from NDI Capital. www.epiomed.com

Pawngo.com, a Centennial, Colorado-based online pawnbroker, has received $1.5 million in Series B funding from early stage investment company Lightbank. Lightbank teamed up with Internet Pawn to launch Pawngo.com, which also received $800,000 in Series A funding from Access Ventures Partners and Daylight Partners. www.pawngo.com

TriOviz, a French company that makes technology to allow regular 2D televisions to display movies and video games in 3D, has raised $1 million dollars in funding from France’s Parness Innov. www.trioviz.com

Lattice Engines, a San Mateo, Calif.-based provider of B2B sales intelligence software, has raised an undisclosed amount of Series B funding from Sequoia Capital. www.lattice-engines.com

TUESDAY, JUNE 7

Violin Memory, a Mountain View, Calif.-based developer of Flash memory enterprise systems, has raised $40 million in Series C funding. Undisclosed “cross-over public market investors” were joined by return backers Juniper Networks and Toshiba. The company previously raised $51 million, including a $35 million Series B round announced just four months ago. www.violinmemory.com

Liquid Robotics, a Sunnyvale, Calif.-based developer of a hybrid sea-surface/underwater robotic vehicle, has raised $22 million in Series D funding led by VantagePoint Capital Partners. www.liquidrobotics.net

PolyRemedy, a Boston-based provider of personalized wound care systems, has raised $20 million in Series C funding. Delphi Ventures led the round, and was joined by return backers Advanced Technology Ventures, Flybridge Capital Partners, and MedVenture Associates.   www.polyremedy.com

FRX Polymers Inc., a Chelmsford, Mass.-based maker of flame-retardant plastics, has raised $15.7 million in Series B funding. SAM Private Equity led the round, and was joined by North Sky Capital and return backers Israel Cleantech Ventures and Capricorn Venture Partners. www.frxpolymers.com

Constellation Pharmaceuticals Inc., a Cambridge, Mass.-based developer of drugs that target selective regulators of epigenetic function, has raised $15 million in Series B-1 funding. Return backers include Third Rock Ventures, The Column Group, Venrock Associates, SR One and Altitude Life Science Ventures. eWise, a global provider of online payment and online financial management solutions, has raised $14 million in new VC funding. Wellington Partners led the round, and was joined by return backers Balderton Capital, Total Technology Ventures and Patagorang. www.ewise.com

XtremIO, an Israel-based developer of solid-state storage solutions, has raised $14 million in new VC funding. Battery Ventures led the round, and was joined by return backers Giza Venture Capital and Jerusalem Venture Partners. www.xtremeio.com

Regenesis Biomedical Inc., a Scottsdale, Ariz.-based regenerative medicine  company, has raised $5.3 million in Series C funding. Fulcrum Equity Partners and TGap Ventures co-led the round, and were joined bv return backer Solstice Capital.

MONDAY, JUNE 6

Mu Sigma, a provider of big data analytics to large enterprises, has raised $25 million in Series C-2 funding from Sequoia Capital, according to VentureWire. Prior backers include FTVentures. www.mu-sigma.com

Aquantia, a Milpitas, Calif.-based provider of 10Gigabit Ethernet connectivity solutions for cloud computing and large-scale data center deployments, has raised $21 million in Series E funding. LSI Corp. was joined by return backers New Enterprise Associates, Lightspeed Venture Partners, Greylock Partners, Pinnacle Ventures and Venture Tech Alliance. www.aquantia.com

Redwood Systems, a Fremont, Calif.-based provider of network-based lighting power and control systems, has raised $3.5 million from Mitsui & Co. Global Investment. This is an extension to the company’s Series B round, which previously closed on $15 million from Index Ventures, Battery Ventures and U.S. Venture Partners. www.redwoodsystems.com

Juice in the City Inc., aMu San Mateo, Calif.-based daily deals company for mothers, has raised $6 million in VC funding from HU Investments and Tandem Enterprises. www.juiceinthecity.com

Lumicell Diagnostics, a Waltham, Mass.-based developer of a device that lets surgeons check tumor sites for cancel cells immediately following tumor-removal surgery, has secured $2.7 million of a $3.9 million funding round, according to a regulatory filing. Backers include Kodiak Venture Partners.
