An Android blog today practically did a review of the soon-to-be-released Motorola Droid 2.

AndroidandMe.com didn’t leave much to the imagination in this “pre-review” of the new Motorola Droid 2, which is set to be announced on Wednesday and scheduled for release next month.
The original Droid and its successor are very similar in appearance, with a new larger keyboard being the major difference from the outside. The original Droid is black with gold highlights, while the Droid 2 is dark blue with silver metal highlights. Both phones are the same physical size, shape, and weight. They even use the same exact battery.
Once inside the phone, the specifications change rather significantly. Motorola (MOT) is almost doubling the speed of the CPU, using a new 45 nm 1GHz TI OMAP processor and a PowerVR SGX530 graphics processor. That’s up from a 550MHz 65nm TI OMAP processor in the original Droid. Motorola also doubled the device’s RAM to 512MB.
The author expects the Droid X to have similar specs, though with a bigger screen and no physical keyboard. Video below:
