VIDEOSMPW 2026
In an era of profound geopolitical tension, economic volatility, and rapid technological transformation, definitions of leadership and influence are being rewritten. At this year’s Fortune Most Powerful Women Summit, we’ll chart a new blueprint for power — and deploying it — that prioritizes clarity amid uncertainty, collaboration across divides and purpose alongside performance. As global dynamics evolve and AI reshapes industries, leaders face an urgent challenge: to navigate change while building the partnerships and power structures that will define this new era of business. Join MPW to rewrite what power and leadership looks like in a world that no longer plays by the old rules.
The Life and Legacy of Wesley LePatner
Wesley LePatner was a Blackstone real estate executive who chaired the company’s Women’s Initiative. A mother of two, she was also deeply involved in New York’s Jewish community and the city’s educational and cultural institutions. Last summer, Wesley was killed in a shooting at her office building in Manhattan. Wesley’s husband, Evan, and her friend and former Blackstone colleague, Kathleen McCarthy Baldwin, join us to reflect on Wesley’s impact — and the mission to cultivate a new generation of nonprofit and community leaders in her honor. Evan LePatner, Founder & Chair, The Wesley Mittman LePatner Foundation; Managing Partner, Courizon Partners LP Kathleen McCarthy Baldwin, Former Global Co-Head of Real Estate, Blackstone Ellie Austin, Editorial Director, Most Powerful Women, Host, Fortune Daily, Fortune
