Case in point: This week, I’ll be speaking to my colleague Kristin Stoller about her interview with Jeff Bezos, which covers our latest issue of Fortune. For the first time ever, Amazon, the juggernaut that Bezos founded in 1994, tops the Fortune 500 list, knocking Walmart off the No. 1 spot after 10 years. Kristin and I will chat about how this happened and what Amazon’s future looks like (a clue: lots of AI investment), and we’ll discuss what Bezos’s remarkable story tells us about what it takes to be a successful founder and leader. She also takes us behind the scenes of how on Earth you get the world’s third-richest person to take your phone call.  

Also, this week, I’ll talk to Fortune Editor-in-Chief Alyson Shontell about her recent sitdown with Pershing Square Capital Management founder Bill Ackman, and Fortune Leadership Editor Ruth Umoh will take us inside the minefield that is a CEO succession race in 2026.
