Good morning from Miami! I’m here in slightly-overcast Florida to speak today with a group of amazing executive women at a gathering hosted by PwC. We’ll chat about lessons from the women at the top of the business world that we cover through MPW—and how those lessons can shape women’s careers.

Speaking of executive women, it’s been a bit since we’ve done a roundup of movers and shakers. (Too much news competing for attention!). Here are some recent moves to know and some you may have missed …

Blackstone’s global co-head of real estate Kathleen McCarthy Baldwin, said yesterday that she plans to leave the firm at the end of the year. Overseeing $320 billion in assets under management, she’s one of the highest-ranking women at Blackstone and on Wall Street. She hasn’t said what she plans to do next.

Joëlle Grunberg joins Tory Burch as president of North America. She comes to the brand from McKinsey & Company.

Bath & Body Works (which just got a new CEO after the exit of Gina Boswell) hired former Bluemercury CEO and CVS Health alum Maly Bernstein as chief commercial officer and Samantha Charleston, previously of cold storage warehouse distribution network Americold, as chief human resources officer.

Clean water technology company Veralto, a S&P 500 business led by CEO Jennifer Honeycutt, just hired Kimberly Y. Chainey as chief legal officer. She came from Aptar Group.

Ms. Foundation president and CEO Teresa C. Younger is stepping down after 12 years “to make room for the next generation of leadership.” The foundation is conducting a nationwide search for its next leader.

Strategic communications advisory Upland Workshop named Arielle Patrick, former chief communications officer at Ariel Investments, its first managing partner to lead the firm’s New York office.

Jill Kramer is Mastercard’s new chief marketing and communications officer. She previously held the same role at Accenture.

Stephanie Danzi has been named chief marketing officer of evergreen and emerging brands at Match Group; she came from the Tinder side of the business.

Gail Becker‘s Caulipower, one of the original cauliflower-as-carb-replacement products, just sold to Urban Farmer.

i-D Magazine named stylist Clare Byrne global fashion director.

And we’ve already covered these big CEO moves, but ICYMI: Etsy has a new female CEO in Kruti Patel Goyal and the Fortune 500 will soon have a new female chief in Mindy K. West of Murphy USA.

See you tomorrow! Lots more news below.

Skims is worth $5 billion now. Kim Kardashian's apparel brand just completed a $225 million capital raise led by Goldman Sachs Alternatives with participation from BDT & MSD Partners’ affiliated funds. It's expecting north of $1 billion in sales in 2025. Reuters

More than 80 women's health groups will receive some of a $250 million award for women's health. Melinda French Gates' Pivotal Ventures just announced the winners of an open call. A third of awardee organizations across 22 countries focus on maternal health, a third on community health and health care access, and others on reproductive health and mental health.

New Epstein emails show his relationship with Trump—and what Trump knew. In one 2019 email, Jeffrey Epstein wrote that "of course [Trump] knew about the girls as he asked Ghislane to stop." Democrats on the House Oversight Committee released the emails. Trump has consistently denied knowing anything about the convicted sex offender's continued crimes. NPR

Atlanta is getting into women's soccer. Atlanta Falcons owner Arthur Blank paid $165 million for a NWSL expansion team—a record. USA Today

ByHeart recalled its infant formula nationwide. At least 15 babies in 12 states have been sickened with infant botulism. ByHeart products represent only 1% of formula sold in the U.S.—so the outbreak shouldn't lead to another formula shortage. AP

Giorgia Meloni's tax plan is under fire in Italy. The prime minister has proposed a "middle class" tax cut but about half the value of the tax cut is expected to go to just 8% of those earners. Critics are accusing the conservative leader of only helping the rich, and the proposal is starting a debate about what exactly "rich" is in Italy. Financial Times

PARTING WORDS

"Most of my life my creative self has been pushed to last place on my to-do list. Family and friends always came first. Is it cultural guilt that made women of my generation prioritize given roles above who we really are and what we want to do? "

— Eleanor Coppola in her posthumous memoir Two of Me. She writes about her life with famous filmmakers, her husband Francis and daughter Sofia.
