How to Find Nintendo SNES Classic Edition in Stock

Nintendo’s SNES Classic Edition, a miniature version of the classic console that plays some of its top games on today’s televisions, is one of the hottest gifts this season. But that also makes it exceedingly hard to find.

Chances are, if you’ve called a local retailer or perused online stores, you’ll find that the SNES Classic Edition is out of stock, and there’s no telling when the console will be available again. Like last year’s NES Classic Edition, to get your hands on the SNES Classic Edition, you’ll need to stay abreast of retailer stock and move quickly if you’re even going to come close to having a chance of getting the $80 device.

So, to help you stay informed and hopefully get a SNES Classic Edition, we’ve compiled the following guide. Armed with these tools, you should have a better chance of getting Nintendo’s console.

NowInStock

NowInStock is a handy tool for finding out which retailers have available stock. At the top of its page is a SNES Classic Edition Tracker that lists retailers and whether they have any stock at the moment. The site also includes direct links to listing pages so you can quickly make a purchase when stock is available.

NowInStock updates its chart every minute.

Under that table is an historical stock tracker to let you know which retailers have had units recently. It’s a handy way to see which retailers are getting units and which are not.

ZooLert

Like NowInStock, ZooLert lists both current inventory and in stock history. But it does it in a design that’s far more appealing than NowInStock.

At the top of the ZooLert page, you’ll see a filterable table that lets you choose stock by store, product, status, and price. ZooLert, which updates its listings every minute, also has an alarm feature that you can have automatically sound whenever stock is available.

If you’d rather not keep the site up in your browser, ZooLert comes with an alerts function that will send you an e-mail or text message whenever a retailer has available inventory.

StockInformer

StockInformer has a handy tool for quickly seeing which retailers have available SNES Classic Edition stock. And like the others, the service updates its available stock automatically, though for unregistered users, those updates are presented every few minutes. Registered users get quicker updates.

The service also includes an alert function that will sound over your computer’s speakers whenever new inventory is discovered. And if you’re a social media user, you can follow StockInformer on Facebook and Twitter to get stock alerts.
