The tunneling company that began as an off-the-cuff tweet from Tesla CEO Elon Musk now has branded swag—absolute proof that Musk’s tunnel project is real.
Well, that and the actual 30 feet wide, 50 feet long, and 15 feet deep hole being dug at SpaceX’s Los Angeles headquarters.
Musk first teased the idea in December while ostensibly being stuck in Los Angeles traffic. He quipped on Twitter that he would create “The Boring Company” to dig holes under Los Angeles, thereby ameliorating the traffic issue. A month later, he tweeted that they had made “amazing progress.”
Now, to cap off that string of tunneling related updates, Musk tweeted out a photo of a “The Boring Company” baseball hat Sunday.
