Donald Trump took aim at Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg in the opening minutes of the final presidential debate Wednesday, citing her comments slamming the GOP presidential candidate and her subsequent apology.
“Justice Ginsburg made some very inappropriate statements towards me,” Trump said. “She was forced to apologize, and apologize she did.”
Ginsburg said in July that she could not “imagine what the country would be—with Donald Trump as our President.” She later apologized, saying the comments were inappropriate for a Supreme Court Justice.
