Venture Capital Deals

Elasticsearch Inc., an Amsterdam-based provider of a real-time search and analytics platform, has raised $70 million in Series C funding. New Enterprise Associates led the round, and was joined by return backers Benchmark and Index Ventures. www.elasticsearch.com

SAVO Group, a Chicago-based provider of sales productivity solutions, has raised $35 million in new VC funding. Goldman Sachs led the round, and was joined by Sterling Partners and SAP Ventures. The company previously raised $49 million. www.savogroup.com

Infrascale, a Los Angeles-based provider of cloud-based data protection solutions, has raised $16.3 million in Series B funding led by new investor Carrick Capital Partners. www.infrascale.com

PackLink, a Spain-based online shipping solution for consumers and businesses, has raised $9 million in Series B funding. Accel Partners led the round, and was joined by return backer Active Venture Partners. www.packlink.com

Wikifolio, an Austria-based alternative investment platform, has raised €6 million in VC funding.SpeedInvest led the round, and was joined by return backers like VHB Ventures and Lang & Schwarz. www.wikifolio.com

NVM Private Equity has invested £5.7 million to support a management buyout of The Fresh Group, a UK-based corporate event agency. www.nvm.co.uk

Urban Remedy, a San Rafael, Calif.-based juice cleansing, meal replacement and organic snack delivery service, has raised $5 million in Series A funding from Venture51. www.urbanremedy.com

Lima, a Newark, Del.-based content consolidation solutions, has raised $2.5 million in Series A funding from Partech Ventures. www.meetlima.com

Buzzoola, a native video advertising platform in Russia and Eastern Europe, has raised $2 million in seed funding from I2BF Global Ventures. www.buzzoola.com

Private Equity Deals

AEA Investors has acquired Galco Industrial Electronics Inc., a Madison Heights, Mich.–based distributor of industrial and commercial electrical and electronic control, automation and motion products. No financial terms were disclosed. Quarton Partners managed the process. www.galco.com American Securities has agreed to acquire Emerald Performance Materials LLC, a Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio-based specialty chemicals company, from Sun Capital Partners. No financial terms were disclosed, but a prior Reuters report puts the price-tag above $1 billion. www.emeraldmaterials.com Deltek, a Herndon, Va.-based portfolio company of Thoma Bravo, has acquired Axium, a Portland, Ore.–based provider of accounting and project management solutions for architecture and engineering firms. No financial terms were disclosed. www.deltek.com Fulcrum Capital Partners has acquired a majority stake in Weatherhaven Global Resources Ltd., a Canadian defense and infrastructure company. No financial terms were disclosed. www.weatherhaven.com KKR has invested around $200 million for an undisclosed stake in Afriflora, an Ethiopian cultivator and seller of roses for the global market. www.kkr.com Moelis Capital Partners has acquired PATS Aircraft Systems, a Georgetown, Del.-based provider of aircraft services and components for OEMs. No financial terms were disclosed. www.patsaircraft.com Wasserstein & Co. has agreed to repurchase ALM Media, publisher of The American Lawyer and other legal trade publications, from Apax Partners and RBS. Joining Wasserstein will be the Ontario Pension Board, Pantheon Ventures, HighVista Strategies and Honeywell Capital Management. No financial terms were disclosed, but the NY Times reports a price-tag of around $417 million. Apax originally paid $630 million to acquire ALM back in 2007. www.alm.com

IPOs

Cnova NV, the global ecommerce unit of French retailer Casino (Paris: CO), has filed for a $1 billion IPO. It plans to trade under ticker symbol CNV, with Morgan Stanley and J.P. Morgan serving as lead underwriters. The company reports a $31 million net loss on nearly $4 billion in 2013 revenue. www.groupe-casino.fr OneSavings Bank PLC, a British lender to landlords and small businesses, has raised £134 million in its IPO. It will trade on the LSE under ticker symbol OSB. OneSavings is controlled by J.C. Flowers & Co., and has an initial market cap of £413 million. www.osb.co.uk

M&A

Aduro BioTech The Carlyle Group is talking to bankers about an auction process for British mini-cab companyAddison Lee Ltd., according to Bloomberg. Carlyle acquired the company just over a year ago for approximately £300 million. www.carlyle.com Alibaba Group has agreed to acquire a 50% stake in Chinese football club Guangzhou EvergrandeF.C. from Evergrande Real Estate Group for nearly $200 million. www.alibaba.com KKR and LIM Advisors have acquired K Twin Towers, a commercial property in Seoul’s central business district, from Vestas Investment Management. No financial terms were disclosed. www.kkr.com E2open (Nasdaq: EOPN) has acquired Serus Corp., a Santa Clara, Calif.-based provider of operations management software for manufacturing, for approximately $18.5 million at closing and up to another $7.5 million in earnouts. Serus had raised around $10 million in VC funding from Diamondhead Ventures, OVP Venture Partners, Samsung Venture Investment Corp. and Zap Ventures. www.serus.com Henkel AG (DB: HEN3) as agreed to acquire Spotless Group, a French maker of household products like laundry sheets, for €940 million from BC Partners. The deal is expected to close by year-end. www.spotlessgroup.eu MSouth Equity Partners has sold GaiaTech Inc., a Chicago-based provider of environmental consulting and engineering services, to RPS Group PLC (LSE: RPS). No financial terms were disclosed. Lincoln International managed the process. www.gaiatech.com PPG Industries (NYSE: PPG) has agreed to acquire The Homax Group, a Bellingham, Wash.–based provider of decorative wall and ceiling texture repair products, from Olympus Partners. No financial terms were disclosed. www.homaxgroup.com Terra-Gen Power LLC, a portfolio company of ArcLight Capital Partners and Global Infrastructure Partners, has agreed to sell its Alta Wind projects to NRG Yield (NYSE: NYLD). No financial terms were disclosed. www.nrgyield.com Twitter (NYSE: TWTR) has acquired Namo Media, a provider of native ad solutions for mobile app developers, for an undisclosed amount.
