SiteMinder, an Australia-based online hotel distribution and connectivity platform, has raised $30 million in Series B funding led by Technology Crossover Ventures. www.siteminder.com 

NextBit, a San Francisco-based mobile platform development company formed by Android vets Tom Moss and Mike Chan, has raised $18 million in Series A funding from Google Ventures and Accel Partners (where Chan is an entrepreneur-in-residence).

FRX Polymers Inc., a Chelmsford, Mass.-based developer of inherently flame retardant plastics, has raised $12 million in Series C funding. Evonik Venture Capital led the round, and was joined by return backers Capricorn Venture Partners, DB Masdar Cleantech Fund, SAM Private Equity, BASF Venture Capital, Israel Cleantech Ventures and Triton Systems. www.frxpolymers.com

Eyefreight, a Dutch provider of transportation management system technology, has raised €9 million in new VC funding led by existing backers De Hoge Dennen Capital and Global Cleantech Capital.www.eyefreight.com

EquityMetrix LLC, a Dallas-based provider of big data solutions to land data management issues in the oil and gas industry, has raised $5 million in growth equity funding from Peterson Partners.www.equitymetrix.com

FarmLogs, an Ann Arbor, Mich.-based startup that helps farmers digitally manage their farm to increase profitability, has raised $4 million in Series A funding. Drive Capital led the round, and was joined by return backers Huron River Ventures, Hyde Park Venture Partners and Hyde Park Angels.www.farmlogs.com

Private Equity Deals

Acacia Partners has acquired Questco Cos., provider of professional employment services in Texas. No financial terms were disclosed. Acacia was joined on the deal by ORIX Mezzanine and private equity, plus several family offices and company CEO Ben August. www.questco.net

Hony Capital, a Chinese private equity firm, is considering a buyout offer for United Biscuits Holdings Ltd., a UK-based biscuit-maker owned by The Blackstone Group and PAI Partners, according to Bloomberg. www.unitedbiscuits.com

Quench, a King of Prussia, Penn.-based provider of filtered drinking water and ice dispensers in North America, has raised $38.5 million in new equity and debt financing. T. Rowe Price led the round, and was joined by return backers Element Partners, Virgin Green Fund, Douglas Brown, ORIX Ventures, Advent-Morro Equity Partners, Potomac Energy Fund and The Pohlad Companies. www.quenchonline.com

Suja Juice, a San Diego-based maker of cold-pressed organic juices and smoothies, has raised an undisclosed amount of growth equity funding from Alliance Consumer Growth. www.sujajuice.com

Summit Partners has acquired a majority stake in Parts Town LLC, an Addison, Ill.–based distributor of OEM repair and maintenance equipment parts for the restaurant and foodservice equipment sectors. No financial terms were disclosed. www.partstown.com 

IPOs

Odigeo, an online travel agency in Europe, has picked J.P. Morgan and Deutsche Bank to lead an IPO later this year, according to Bloomberg. Odigeo is owned by private equity firms Ardian andPermira, and could be valued at around $2 billion. www.odigeo.com

Offerings expected to price next week include Care.com, CHC Group, Rice Energy, RSP Permain and Santander Consumer USA.

OTHER DEALS

China South City Holdings (HK: 1668), a developer of logistics and trade centers in China, has raised US$193 million in equity funding from Tencent (HK: 700). The HK$2.20 per share price represents around a 1.4% premium to where China South City shares were trading on Monday, and gives Tencent around a 9.9% ownership stake (which could get increased to 13% if it exercises related options).www.tencent.com

Globus Medical (NYSE: GMED) has acquired Excelsius Surgical, a Phoenix-based developer of surgical robotics. No financial terms were disclosed. www.excelsiussurgical.com

Encore Consumer Capital has sold Zuke’s LLC, a Durango, Colo.–based premium dog and cat treats, to Nestlé Purina PetCare Co. No financial terms were disclosed. www.zukes.com

Exar Corp. (NYSE: EXAR) has acquired Stretch Inc., a Sunnyvale, Calif.–based provider of software configurable processors supporting the video surveillance market. No financial terms were disclosed. Stretch had raised over $50 million in VC funding from Menlo Ventures, Oak Investment Partnersand Worldview Technology Partners. www.stretchinc.com

Forbes Media LLC is expected to receive second-round takeover offers from at least three suitors, according to Dow Jones. They are: Axel Springer SE (Germany), Fosun International Ltd. (China) and Spice Global Pvt. (Singapore). Offers also could come from Oxley Group (Singapore) and G2 Whale Capital Group (Chinese group that includes New York-based G2 Investment Group). The final deal could be worth between $400 million and $500 million. Sellers would include Elevation Partners.www.forbes.com

Secret Escapes, a London-based luxury travel flash sale site, has agreed to acquire JustBook, a Germany-based provider of mobile hotel booking solutions for business travel. No financial terms were disclosed. Secret Escapes backers include Atlas Venture, Index Ventures and Octopus Investments. JustBook was seeded by such firms as Paua Ventures, Venista Ventures, RI Digital Ventures and Venture Stars. www.secretescapes.com
