Private Equity Deals
Aden & Anais, a New York-based provider of infant and juvenile products, has raised an undisclosed amount of equity funding from Swander Pace Capital. A regulatory filing suggests that the investment is around $57 million. www.adenandanais.com
Dering Capital reportedly is the only remaining bidder for French broadcast tower operator TDF. Reuters previously reported that Dering had offered just shy of $5 billion for TDF – slightly higher than a Canadian consortium led by PSP Investments that has now abandoned the process.
Evidera, a portfolio company of Symphony Technology Group, has acquired Archimedes, a San Francisco-based healthcare modeling company, from Kaiser Permanente. No financial terms were disclosed. www.evidera.com

TPG Capital has agreed to sell Aptalis Holdings, a Bridgewater, N.J.-based drug developer focused on such conditions as cystic fibrosis and gastrointestinal disorders, to Forest Laboratories Inc. for approximately $2.9 billion. Aptalis had filed for an IPO last month.
Becton Dickinson & Co. has acquired Alverix Inx., a San Jose, Calif.–based maker of medical diagnostic test equipment. No financial terms were disclosed. New Venture Partners and Safeguard Scientifics spun Alverix out of Avago Technologies in 2007. www.alverix.com
