Marlin Equity Partners has agreed to acquire Tellabs (Nasdaq: TLAB), a Naperville, Ill.-based provider of telecom networking products for communications service providers. The deal is valued at $872 million, or $2.45 per share in cash.

The Abraaj Group has acquired a majority stake in Ghana Home Loans, a provider of residential mortgages in Ghana. No financial terms were disclosed.

Arlon Group
 and 734 Agriculture have agreed to acquire a 50.5% stake in Alico Inc. (Nasdaq: ALCO), a Fort Myers, Fla.-based agribusiness and land management company, for $137.8 million, or $37 per share.

Charterhouse Capital Partners may bid around $1.6 billion for the cash solutions business of UK-based security company G4S PLC (LSE: GFS), according to Bloomberg.

Gulf Pacific Power
, an affiliate of Harbert Investment Corp., has acquired around a 33% ownership stake in the Astoria Energy II LLC power plant in New York City, which sells its entire output to the New York Power Authority under a long-term contract. No financial terms were disclosed. GPP was formed earlier this year via a $600 million commitment from Harbert and the California Public Employees Retirement System (CalPERS).

High Road Capital Partners

Providence Equity Partners has agreed to acquire a majority stake in UK-based The Ambassador Theatre Group Ltd. from Exponent Private Equity. No financial terms were disclosed. Exponent will retain a minority ownership position.

The Raine Group
 has acquired beRecruited, a Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.–based online site for high school athletes seeking to be recruited by colleges, from Madison Parker Capital. No financial terms were disclosed.

 has agreed to acquire NTS Inc. (AMEX: NTS), a Lubbock, Texas–based regional provider of integrated communications services, for $83 million, or $2 per

TPG Capital has agreed to acquire a 12.15% stake in Phoenix Satellite Television Holdings Ltd.(HK: 02008), a provider of satellite television broadcasting services in Asia, from 21st Century Fox(Nasdaq: FOX).

Cotton Creek Capital Management has acquired Royal Baths Manufacturing Co., a Houston, Texas-based maker of acrylic and cultured marble bathroom products, from Linsalata Capital Partners. No financial terms were disclosed.

Douglas Holding AG, a German retail group owned by Advent International, is in talks to acquireNocibe, a French perfume and cosmetics company owned by Charterhouse Capital Partners, according to Les Echos. The deal could be valued at between €500 million and €550
