Cinven and Warburg Pincus have sold their remaining stakes in listed Dutch cable operator Ziggo NV for a combined €880 million.

Facebook (Nasdaq: FB) has acquired Parse, a San Francisco-based mobile app platform, for a reported $85 million. Parse had raised around $7 million in VC funding from such firms as Ignition Partners, Data Collective, Google Ventures, Menlo Ventures and SV Angel. www.parse.com

Betaworks, a New York-based tech incubator and holding company, has acquired story-saving application Instapaper for an undisclosed amount. Betaworks backers include RRE Ventures, SV Angel, Intel Capital, AOL Ventures, SoftBank Capital, Lerer Ventures, DFJ Growth, Pilot Group and NY Times Co. www.betaworks.com
