Nevro Corp., a Menlo Park, Calif.-based maker of medical devices to treat chronic pain and other neurological disorders, has raised $48 million in Series C funding. Novo Ventures led the round, and was joined by New Enterprise Associates, Covidien Ventures and return backers Accuitive Medical Ventures, Bay City Capital, Johnson & Johnson Development Corp., Mayo Clinic, MPM Capital, and Three Arch Partners. www.nevro.com

Pertino, a Los Gatos, Calif.-based provider of cloud networking software, has raised $20 million in Series B funding. Jafco Ventures led the round, and was joined by return backers Norwest Venture Partners and Lightspeed Venture Partners. www.pertino.com

FibeRio, a McAllen, Texas-based provider of nanofiber products and equipment, has raised $13 million in VC funding co-led by SABIC Ventures and Aster Capital Partners. Woodside Capital Partners served as placement agent. www.fiberiotech.com

Innovid, a New York-based provider of video advertising software, has raised $11 million in Series C funding. Vintage Investment Partners was joined by return backers Sequoia Capital, Genesis Partners, and T-Venture. www.innovid.com

Matterport, a Mountain View, Calif.-based provider of rapid 3D scanning solutions of spaces and objects, has raised $5.6 million in Series A funding. Lux Capital led the round, and was joined by Felicis Ventures, Red Swan Ventures, Greylock, Qualcomm Ventures and individual angels. www.matterport.com

Handshakez, an Austin, Texas-based developer of front-end enterprise applications has raised $3.6 million in Series A funding. Austin Ventures led the round, and was joined by First Round Capital, FLOODGATE, CrunchFund, Valhalla Partners and Thinktiv. www.handshakez.com

PHD Virtual Technologies, a Philadelphia-based provider of virtual machine backup and recovery, has raised $2 million in Series C funding led by Insight Venture Partners and Citrix. It also has secured $2 million in venture debt financing from Wellington Financial. www.wellingtonfund.com

Vistar Media, a New York-based digital out-of-home programmatic media platform, has raised $1.5 million in seed funding. Valhalla Partners led the round, and was joined by Mercury Fund and Ben Franklin Technology Partners. www.vistarmedia.com

SalesFusion, an Atlanta-based provider of cloud marketing automation software, has raised $1 million in Series A-1 funding from Hallett Capital. www.salesfusion.com

Aviacode, a Salt Lake City–based provider of tech-enabled medical coding services and software, has raised an undisclosed amount of funding from Heritage Group. www.aviacode.com

Life360, a San Francisco–based provider of provider of mobile family safety applications, has an undisclosed amount of strategic funding from BMW i-Ventures. It previously raised $3.5 million in Series A funding from Fontinalis Partners, Bessemer Venture Partners, 500 Startups, Kapor Capital, Venture51, Bullpen Capital, Social Leverage and EchoVC Partners. www.life360.com
