FORTUNE — As you might imagine, we get a lot of CEOs and executive coming through the Fortune offices. Most are prepared with facts and figures about their industries and many have great anecdotes and advice. Less common are jokes. But today a prominent tech CEO told us a good one. It was written for a recent Silicon Valley soirée but not deployed. It goes like this:
You may have seen that Facebook released a new search engine called Graph Search.
What a lot of people don’t realize is that was actually in reaction to Google, which also recently released an online directory of all of its employees — called Google Plus.
