The Carlyle Group, CVC Capital Partners and Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co. are among those that have submitted non-binding offers for control of French fashion brands Maje, Sandro and Claudie Pierlot, according to Reuters. The brands are currently controlled by L Capital Partners and the family of Bernard Arnault, and could be valued at more than €650 million. Other bidders include PAI Partners, Eurazeo, Wendel and the Moulin family.

Dynamic Precision Group, a Stuart, Fla.–based maker of turbine engine and other machined products, has acquired Paradigm Precision Holdings, a Peabody, Mass.-based provider of highly engineered components for turbine engines. No financial terms were disclosed. Dynamic Precision Group is a portfolio company of The Carlyle Group, while sellers include American Capital. www.paradigmprecision.com

The FRS Co., a performance health products company backed by Oak Investment Partners, has acquired Nutravail, a contract manufacturer of nutritional ingredients. No financial terms were disclosed. www.frs.com

Linden Capital Partners has completed its previously-announced acquisition of Young Innovations Inc., an Earth City, Mo.-based maker of maker of oral care products for the dental and consumer markets. The deal was valued at around $313 million, or $39.50 per share. Young Innovations has delisted from the Nasdaq. www.yiinc.com

Marlin Equity Partners
has acquired the optical networking business of Sycamore Networks Inc. (Nasdaq: SCMR). No financial terms were disclosed. The new entity will be called Sycamore Networks Solutions. www.marlinequity.com

Precision Dialogue, a Chicago-based customer engagement firm focused on improving marketing ROI, has acquired Hub Marketing Solutions, a Woburn, Mass.–based provider of marketing data management and business intelligence solutions. No financial terms were disclosed. Precision Dialogue is a portfolio company of Kirtland Capital Partners. www.precisiondialogue.com

SmartSource Computer & Audio Visual Rentals, a Long Island City, N.Y.-based technology rental company, has acquired Culver City, Calif.-based CRE Computer Rentals & AV Solutions.
