Quirky Inc., a New York-based operator of a social product design platform, has raised $68 million in Series C funding. Andreessen Horowitz led the round, and was joined by Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers and return backers Norwest Venture Partners and RRE Ventures. The deal values Quirky at $150 million, according to the WSJ. www.quirky.com

VideoBlocks.com, a Reston, Va.-based provider of royalty-free stock video and audio clips via subscription, has raised $10.5 million in Series A funding. Updata Partners led the round, and was joined by QED Investors. www.videoblocks.com

Karus Therapeutics, a British developer of drugs for cancer and inflammatory disease, has raised $7.6 million in the first tranche of Series B funding. SV Life Sciences, New Leaf Ventures, Novo A/S and International Biotechnology Trust were joined by return backers IP Group. www.karustherapeutics.com

Spreecast, a San Francisco-based social video platform, has raised $7 million in Series A funding from firms like Meakem Becker Venture Capital, GGV Capital and MentorTech Ventures. www.spreecast.com

Predilytics, a Boston-based healthcare data analytics and services startup, has raised $6 million in Series A funding. Flybridge Capital Partners and Highland Capital Partners co-led the round, and were joined by Google Ventures. www.predilytics.com

Datavail, a Broomfield, Colo.-based provider of remote database administration services, has raised $4.25 million in growth equity funding. Meritage Funds led the round, and was joined by return backers Boulder Ventures and Montis Capital. www.datavail.com

Urjanet Inc.
, an Atlanta-based provider of energy use and environmental impact management for large-scale energy consumers, has raised $4 million in Series B funding, according to VentureWire. Grotech Ventures led the round, and was joined by return backers GRA Venture Fund and Imlay Investments.www.urjanet.com
