FORTUNE — Rep. Paul Ryan may now be on a political ticket with private equity’s favorite candidate, but he hasn’t personally received too much campaign support from the industry.
According to a review of Federal Election Commission records, Ryan only has raised $15,250 from private equity and venture capital investment professionals during the most recent election cycle. That’s out of more than $3 million that Ryan has raised from individuals.
Here are the largest contributors from that group:
- Marc Andreessen (Andreessen Horowitz): $5,000
- William Spell (Spell Capital): $4,000
- Jonathan Coslet (TPG Capital): $2,500
Both Andreessen and Coslet also have contributed to Mitt Romney’s presidential campaign.
Other PE/VC firms with Ryan backers include Aaven Equity Partners, Baird Venture Partners, Black Diamond Capital Management, Providence Equity Partners, Silver Point Capital and Waveland Ventures.
Ryan also received a $1,000 donation from VenturePAC, a political action committee managed by The National Venture Capital Association. Overall, he raised more than $1 million from PACs and other committees.
