Gene Security Network Inc., a Redwood City, Calif.-based genetic testing startup, has raised $20 million in new VC funding. Lightspeed Venture Partners led the round, and was joined by Claremont Creek Ventures and Sequoia Capital. The company also said that it would change its name to Natera. www.natera.com

Moontoast, a social commerce software company with offices in Boston and Nashville, has raised $6 million in new VC funding led by The Martin Cos. www.moontoast.com

Piazza, a Palo Alto, Calif.-based Q&A site for students and teachers, has raised $6 million in Series A funding. Bessemer Venture Partners led the round, and was joined by Kapor Capital and Felicis Ventures. Past backers include Sequoia Capital and SV Angel. www.piazza.com

DailyWorth.com, a daily email newsletter and website for women about personal finance, has raised $2 million in angel funding. Backers include Joanne Wilson, Howard Lindzon, Dave McClure, David Cohen and Eric Schmidt. www.dailyworth.com
