Tigo Energy, a Los Gatos, Calif.-based developer of technology to increase efficiency of commercial and residential solar installation, has raised $18 million in new VC funding. Bessemer Venture Partners led the round, and was joined by return backers Generation Investment Management, Inventec Appliances Corp., Matrix Partners, OVP Venture Partners and ICV. Soasta, a Mountain View, Calif.-based provider of cloud-based performance testing, has raised $12 million in Series C funding. The Entrepreneurs’ Fund led the round, and was joined by return backers Canaan Partners, Formative Ventures and Pelion Venture Partners. www.soasta.com

IP.access, a British developer of small cell infrastructure solutions, has raised $15 million in new VC funding. Return backers include Amadeus Capital Partners, Cisco, Intel Capital, Qualcomm, Rothschild & Cie Gestion, Scottish Equity Partners and TE Connectivity. www.ipaccess.com

Pepperfry, an online retailer of affordable lifestyle products for Indian consumers, has raised $5 million in Series A funding from Norwest Venture Partners. www.pepperfry.com

CeNeRx BioPharma Inc., a Cary, N.C.-based developer of CNS drugs, has raised $4.85 million in new Series C funding. This brings the round total to over $25 million, and could be increased by another $2 million based on the company’s achievement of certain clinical milestones. Return backers include Perseus Soros Biopharmaceutical Fund, L Capital Partners, Pappas Ventures and Omega Funds. www.cenerx.com

BioLite, a New York-based maker of a wood-burning cooking stove, has raised $1.8 million in first-round funding. Disruptive Innovation Fund led the round, and was joined by Toniic Network and individual angels. www.biolitestove.com
