We counted 330 at this store for the launch of the iPhone 3GS, 500-600 for the launch of the original iPad and nearly 1,200 for the iPad 2.
Judging from the videos we’ve seen, the turnout for the iPhone 4S was larger in Asia and Europe than it was in New York City. Several readers have suggested that the weather may have been a factor. That could well be. On the other hand, the rain didn’t seem to have deterred the Occupy Wall Street crowd when I stopped by Zuccotti Park on my way home.
