Bonney Plumbing, Heating & Air has acquired D&D Plumbing, Heating & Cooling, a Vacaville, Calif.-based provider of residential plumbing and HVAC services. No financial terms were disclosed. Bonney is a Sacramento, Calif.-based portfolio company of Skylight Equity. Generational Equity managed the process.www.bonneyplumbing.com

C2 Educational Systems, a Duluth, Ga.–based provider of private educational enrichment centers serving K-12 students, has raised an undisclosed amount of private equity funding from Serent Capital. Arlington Capital Advisors served as placement agent. www.c2educate.com

Clearview Capital has acquired Pyramid Healthcare Inc., an Altoona, Penn.-based provider of drug/alcohol and mental health treatment for adults and adolescents. No financial terms were disclosed. Pyramid Healthcare has 21 facilities throughout Pennsylvania. www.clearviewcap.com

Guardian Capital Partners has acquired a controlling interest in R&D Circuits, a South Plainfield, N.J.-based maker of printed circuit boards used to test integrated circuits. No financial terms were disclosed.www.rdcircuits.com
Norwest Equity Partners has sold its stake in Lindstrom Metric LLC, a Blaine, Minn.-based distributor and importer of metric fasteners to Harbour. No financial terms were disclosed. Houlihan Lokey managed the process. www.nep.com

Pfingsten Partners has acquired Midwest Products and Engineering Inc., a Milwaukee -based maker of mobile carts, consoles, tables and assemblies for the medical market. No financial terms were disclosed.www.mpe-inc.com

Ridgemont Equity Partners has acquired a majority stake in Aurora Parts & Accessories LLC, a Lebanon, Ind.-based distributor of aftermarket and replacement semi-trailer parts and accessories. Leveraged financing was provided by NXT Capital, DE Shaw and BB&T Capital Partners. www.auroraparts.com

WRM America Holdings, a property and casualty insurance and risk management holding company, has agreed to acquire the flood insurance business of Fidelity National Financial Inc. (NYSE: FNF). THURSDAY, JULY 14

ACON Investments has acquired Aseo Urbano SA, a Columbian waste management company, from Spanish waste management company Urbaser and U.S. holding company Raygar International. No financial terms were disclosed. www.aconinvestments.com

The Gores Group has completed its previously-announced acquisition of Scovill Fasteners, a Clarkesville, Ga.–based maker of engineered closure products, via a bankruptcy proceeding. www.gores.com

JLL Partners has completed its previously-announced sale of PharmaNet Development Group Inc., a provider of clinical development services, to InVentiv Health Inc., a portfolio company of THL Capital andLiberty Lane Partners. No financial terms were disclosed. www.pharmanet.com

Nordic Capital has dropped out of an auction for Swedish cable television operator Com Hem, which is being sold for up to $2.7 billion by The Carlyle Group and Providence Equity Partners, according to Reuters. Kinetic Concepts Inc. (NYSE: KCI) has agreed to be acquired by a private equity consortium that includes Apax Partners, Canada Pension Plan Investment Board and the Public Sector Pension Investment Board. The $68.50 per share deal values the San Antonio, Texas-based med-tech company at $6.3 billion (including the assumption of debt). www.kci1.com

Moelis Capital Partners has acquired CyberCore Technologies, an Elkridge, Md.–based provider of IT services to the U.S. government and intelligence communities. No financial terms were disclosed.www.moelis.com

The Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan plans to strengthen its majority stakes in two Chilean water utilities –Essbio SA and Esval SA – via a government auction.

WhatCounts, an email marketing company owned by The Riverside Company, has acquired Baltimore-based rival Blue Sky Factory Inc. No financial terms were disclosed. www.riversidecompany.com

TA Associates has completed its previously-announced acquisition of a 54.4% stake in Stadion Money Management LLC, a Watkinsville, Ga.-based provider of investment management services via mutual funds, separate accounts and retirement accounts. Golden Gate Capital has agreed to acquire EP Minerals, a Reno, Nevada-based producer of diatomaceous earth filter aids, functional additives and absorbents. No financial terms were disclosed. www.epminerals.com

Olympus Capital Holdings Asia is leading a $45 million minority investment in Chinese dairy farm operator Huaxia Dairy Farm Ltd.www.olympuscap.com

Olympus Partners has acquired FFR-DSI Inc., a Twinsburg, Ohio-based provider of merchandising, loss prevention and operational efficiency solutions for North American retailers and consumer packaged goods companies. The seller was Cortec Group. No financial terms were disclosed. www.ffr-dsi.com

Weld North, an education-focused investment partnership between KKR and ex-Kaplan CEO Jonathan Grayer, has acquired e2020 Inc., an e-learning company serving middle and high schools across the U.S. No financial terms were disclosed. www.kkr.com

Pacific World Corp., a portfolio company of Levine Leichtman Capital Partners, has acquired Fing’rs Europe, a provider of nail and beauty care products in Europe. No financial terms were disclosed. www.llcp.com

Chesapeake Energy Corp. (NYSE: CHK) said that it plans to form a $1 billion “venture capital” fund to invest in companies whose technology relies on natural gas instead of overseas petroleum. The money will come from diverting up to 2% of the company’s annual drilling budget. Chesapeake also announced the new platform’s first two investments: $150 million into Clean Energy Fuels Corp. (Nasdaq: CLNE), North America’s largest provider of natural gas fuel for transportation, via a tranched convertible debt structure; and $155 million for Sundrop Fuels Inc., a Louisville, Colo.-based developer of gasification-based drop-in biofuels. Existing Sundrop shareholder Oak Investment Partner will invest another $20 million as part of the transaction. www.chk.com

MONDAY, JULY 11

Doughty Hanson is circling Aegis, a British marketing company that is in exclusive talks to be acquired by France’s Ipsos for around £520 million. The Sunday Telegraph reports that Doughty Hanson may be willing to offer upwards of £600 million.

Global Resource Solutions, an Alexandria, Va.-based provider of mission and operational support solutions to the U.S. Department of Defense, has raised an undisclosed amount of minority equity funding from FedCap Partners. www.fedcappartners.com
