Google celebrates what would have been the singer’s 70th birthday with a YouTube video logo of the classic Imagine.
As Google (GOOG) Doodles go, this one is unique in that it is video clip (most doodles are static) of John Lennon’s 1971 classic Imagine, which transforms into Google’s logo pictured above. The Doodle is rolling out across the world and works only in desktop browsers that can see YouTube videos.
When you hit the play button that replaces the ‘e’ in Google, you get the following 30-second clip which is embedded over the search bar.
