I’m at Fortune Brainstorm Tech in Aspen. Stretching my brain. Today I hosted a Most Powerful Women lunch, where I interviewed Juniper Networks (JNPR) CEO Kevin Johnson and two of his senior execs, EVP Gerri Elliott and chief marketing officer Lauren Flaherty. Silicon Valley-based Juniper has women in 38% of its most senior jobs. That’s three times the average in corporate America. Johnson dished out advice, while and a group that included Google’s (GOOG) Marissa Mayer and NBC Universal’s (GE) Lauren Zalaznick–who are on Fortune’s Most Powerful Women list–sparked a lively discussion about women and power.
A few brave guys, including former Walt Disney (DIS) CEO Michael Eisner (with his wife, Jane) popped in.
Next week, I’ll fill you in on that discussion. Meantime, I’ll share a post that I wrote this morning: “Does the Internet know you too well?” it’s on the Brainstorm Tech 2010 site, where you can learn all about the goings-on here in Aspen. Enjoy and stay cool this weekend.
