As stocks of the Incredible and even original Droid are low, help is on the way in the form of new superphones from Motorola.

Verizon's Store shows Incredible out of stock for a month

First the bad news:  If you wanted to get your hands on a Droid Incredible, your prospects are pretty low at this point.  Verizon is advertising no stock until mid-July but some retailers like Amazon say they they’ll have stock by late June (and $50 off).  They’ve obviously been selling ‘incredibly’ well.

That means that the best Verizon Android device you can pick up right now is the 7-month old original Motorola Droid, right?

Don’t be so sure.

While they are selling at pretty significant discounts, ($20+plan) Droids may also be selling out as well.  Motorola CEO Sanjay Jha said they couldn’t make enough to keep Verizon(VZ) stocked.

But that might be because a whole new lineup of Verizon Droids is clogging up the assembly lines.  The Motorola(MOT) Droid 2 has been pictured on numerous occasions and isn’t too different than the original.

However, another Motorola product named Droid X is showing up on rumor sites which will definitely turn some heads.  It is longer than the already giant Sprint EVO 4G according to some screenshots (below).  It also appears to have a longer screen, if not bigger than the EVO’s 4.3 inch screen.

Incredibly, this phone dwarfs even the Sprint EVO 4G.  It looks just a bit smaller than the Dell Streak.  The screen looks longer but not as wide as the EVO – around 4.3 inches diagonally.  Although it doesn’t have a front facing camera, the specs otherwise match up pretty well.
