Blackberry users now get the full Gmail experience.
According to the BGR, Gmail users on Blackberry noticed a big change to their accounts last night. Instead of the usual one-way sync of their read, unread and sent emails, a more complete two-way sync was enabled. The service now works like you’d see natively on an Android phone.
Until now, changes made on the Blackberry (RIMM) would be reflected on the desktop, but changes on the desktop wouldn’t show up live on the Blackberries.
As with most big updates, the fix was spotty and rolling last night so you may not yet see the added functionality for a few hours/days. The two way sync for Gmail is one of a number of features expected for the next version of BIS in the next month or two including contacts and calender sync for Windows Live and Yahoo (YHOO) accounts.
